  • Our therapists specialize in a range of evidence-based approaches, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), committed to providing personalized, compassionate and effective care.

  • Yes! We offer secure and convenient virtual therapy sessions to make care accessible wherever you are. Our online appointments provide the same high-quality support as in-person sessions, allowing you to connect with your therapist from the comfort of your home. All you need is a private space and a stable internet connection. If you have any questions about getting started with virtual sessions, we're happy to help!

Appointments and Scheduling

  • If you're new to Rooted and interested in our services, we'd love to connect—click on the “Get Started” button below. If you're already a client, your clinician is just a message away through your secure client portal, where you can schedule an appointment.

  • No problem! Adjusting or canceling your appointment is easy—just log into your client portal and do it with a quick click. Please remember, we have a 48-hour cancellation policy.

  • You can easily access your appointment through your client portal. Click the Rooted Client Portal button at the bottom of this page.

  • To ensure accessible care for all, we primarily offer virtual and online appointments. However, if you have an in-person appointment, our offices are located at: 5418 N Eagle Rd Ste #160 Boise ID 83713

  • We require at least 48 hours' notice for cancellations. If you cancel with less than 48 hours' notice or miss your appointment, a late cancellation/no-show fee will apply. More details about this policy can be found in our Good Faith document available in your client portal. To reschedule or cancel, please log into your client portal.

Billing and Insurance

  • We are in-network with the following insurance providers:

    • Blue Cross of Idaho

    • Regence Blue Cross

    • PacificSource

    • Saint Alphonsus Health Plan

    • Moda Health

    • Saint Luke’s Health Plan

    If your plan is not listed, you may still have out-of-network benefits. We recommend checking with your insurance provider to confirm coverage.

  • To confirm your coverage, we recommend:

    1. Logging into your insurance provider’s portal or calling their customer service.

    2. Asking about coverage for outpatient mental health services.

    3. Checking if Rooted Recovery and Wellness is in-network under your plan.

    4. Asking if you have a co-pay or deductible and how much has been met.

    If you need assistance, we can provide a Superbill for out-of-network reimbursement.

  • We accept:
    Credit/debit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover)
    HSA/FSA cards

    We require a card on file for all clients. Payments are securely processed through the client portal, where you can also view statements, update your payment method, and manage billing details.

  • Yes! If we are out-of-network with your insurance, we can provide a Superbill so you can request reimbursement from your insurance company.

    To request a Superbill, please send a message through your client portal.

  • Yes! We offer sliding scale options for those paying privately who meet eligibility criteria. For current Rooted clients, please contact our billing team through your client portal to learn more.

  • For the fastest response, please send a secure message through your client portal. You can also call our billing team, but portal messaging is the quickest way to get assistance.
